Lactation Support
As your lactation counselor, Liana will offer education, support and knowledge on breastfeeding. These sessions include education prior to the birth of your baby for the pregnant person and partner on how to breastfeed. After birth, Liana provides support on latching the baby onto the breast, as well as making sure the baby is receiving adequate amounts of milk.
What You Can Expect
Liana will show both parents how to assess latch and how to know if the baby is receiving enough milk. She will be there to encourage you both, when needed, as well as answer any questions you may have. She also has a referral list should you need further assistance with breastfeeding support.
